Solitude
I love the morning solitude
the darkness still watching
a new day almost rearing its head
a blank slate again
how fortunate I am
the making of a fire
the smell of fresh coffee
the chirping of the birds
the innocence before the dawn
Savour these moments
even if the day to come has weight
most of it not life itself
do not despair
life is there
